ABOUT THE BOTTLES
The inspiration behind our olive oil journey, Şevki Pekin, was a distinguished architect known for his minimalist approach, creative vision, and uncompromising commitment to quality. Simplicity, originality, and timelessness were principles that guided every project he created.
To carry this philosophy forward and create something that reflected the standards he would have envisioned, we chose to collaborate with Santimetre Studio. With the participation of creative director Tulya Madra, who shares the same passion and vision, a new chapter began for Nostos.
Today, together with Santimetre Studio, we continue this approach by inviting a different artist each year to create an original design. Their work is transformed into limited-edition olive oil bottles, making every harvest not only an expression of nature, but also a collectible work of art.

SANTIMETRE STUDIO
Santimetre Studio is a design and production studio dedicated to handmade porcelain. Working with a limited-production philosophy, the studio creates timeless, elegant, and thoughtfully designed objects that bring beauty and intention to everyday life.
TULYA MADRA
Tulya Madra, founder of Santimetre Studio, is a designer and ceramic artist based in Ayvalık, Türkiye. After beginning her career in furniture and interior design, she gradually devoted herself to ceramics, embracing porcelain as her primary medium of expression. Her work draws inspiration from the quiet wonders of everyday life, and she approaches each day in the studio as an opportunity for creativity, exploration, and discovery.
ANGELOS ORGANIC OLIVE OIL FACILITY
Nostos olive oils are produced at the Angelos Organic Olive Oil Mill in Bademli, Dikili. Olives harvested from our own groves are transported to the mill on the very day they are picked and cold-pressed below 28°C, preserving their freshness, aroma, and natural character.
EMRE SENAN
Emre Senan is the graphic designer, and contemporary artist behind Nostos' visual identity. With a career spanning more than four decades across graphic design, advertising, and contemporary art, Senan also founded Yahşibey Design Works, an independent creative platform in the neighbouring village of Yahşibey, near Bademli. For many years, it has brought together designers, artists, and students from Türkiye and around the world. Its philosophy where nature, making, and design come together, forms an important cultural connection that has also inspired the visual identity of Nostos.
